Within the castle walls you will find guest rooms marvellously decorated with antique
furnishings, while offering modern comfort and convenience.
Choose from an elegant standard, superior or
luxury bedroom or a Riverside suite.
Standard Rooms all have private bath and shower, TV, and telephone.
These are comfortable rooms with varying shapes and situated in the main section of
the house with views of the mountains, river or courtyard.
Superior Rooms are large rooms with king size beds and a
sitting area to savour the view of the river. All superior double rooms have 4 poster beds.
Luxury Rooms and Riverside Suites are in the riverside wing.
These are beautifully appointed rooms with king size beds, luxury bathrooms with separate bath and shower, walk-through dressing area, luxury bathrobes and slippers.
All of these rooms enjoy stunning views over the river and woodland.

Fishing & other Castle Activities
Local fresh produce is used to create culinary delights in the dining room with its
panoramic view of Ballynahinch River.
Ballynahinch Fishery is world-renowned as one of the finest salmon and
sea trout rivers in Ireland. Fishing is reserved for Hotel guests, and
what better way to spend the day than casting a fly to tempt an eager salmon.
Ballynahinch Castle holds sway over 450 acres of prime woodcock shooting.
This driven shoot is highly-prized among discerning sportsmen,
and the sparkling log fire in the pub is a welcome sight to the
returning shooters after their day's sport. Tennis, pony trekking
and hill climbing are all close at hand and the Connemara Golf Club
17 miles from the Hotel offers a fitting challenge to any golfer.
The beauties and majesty of Connemara can be enjoyed to the fullest
while staying at Ballynahinch Castle which has an aura of its own which
