Style and Tradition at Ballyseede Castle
Ballyseede Castle is an impressive
three-story building. Entrance is
via a broad flight of steps,
flanked by two Lions. Inside the
lobby, Doric columns lead to an
elegant wooden staircase of fine
oak joinery, which is almost
unique in Ireland. There are two
drawing rooms with cornices of
ornamental foliage plasterwork and
marble fireplaces. The gracious
Dining Room overlooks the front
lawn with its ancient oaks and
large pond. Continental Cuisine as
well as Traditional Irish Food are
served here, complemented by one
of the finest wine cellars in the
region.
