Driver
Qualifications?
You
need a current driving licence issued in your country of residence
that is free of major endorsements. (Such endorsements include driving
under the influence of alcohol and dangerous driving resulting in
serious injury or death.) A representative of the car rental firm
will meet all renters at point of pick up and they reserve the absolute
right to refuse to release their vehicle to any individual whom they
believe is unsuitable.
- Required
Driving Experience?
- You
need a minimum of 24 months driving experience prior to the start
date of the rental period.
Minimum
Rental Period?
The
minimum rental period is 3 days.

- Cancellation
Policy?
- When
you give 48 or more hours notice, you will get a full refund. Where
you give less than 48 hours notice or don't show up to collect your
car, you pay for the first days rental.

- Collision
Damage Waiver (CDW)?
- This
covers the vehicle for accidental damage. The renter is responsible
for the first IR£350.00 of damage if this is due to carelessness
on the part of the driver. In the event of a dispute, a Garda Report
(Irish Police Report ) will be used. CDW is included in the standard
rates as quoted by Hotel Ireland for car rental through the the
rental company.

Age
Requirements?
Drivers
must be between the ages of 21 and 75 to rent a car. Drivers 21 -
24 and 70 - 75 are subject to an insurance surcharge. IR£12.50 and
IR£5.00 per day respectively .Additional
Drivers? Each
additional authorised driver costs IR£3.00 per day. Only drivers
accepted at time of collection are covered.
- Emergency
Breakdown Service?
- A
24-hour emergency breakdown service is provided.

- Luggage

Do not leave luggage visible in the car as it WILL be stolen and
the renter will be responsible for glass breakage & damage to
the locks. We advise you to have your luggage in the boot ( trunk)
BEFORE parking the car. Do not park the car on the side of the road,
particularly in Dublin. A secure car park should be used as the
renter will be responsible for damage caused overnight if this occurs
whilst the car is left in an insecure location.

Problems / Accident Procedures?
- We
will outline the procedure when you collect your car.

- Personal
Accident Insurance?
- This
covers injuries as a result of an accident in the vehicle. All persons
travelling in the car are covered. We recommend that this is taken
at a rate of IR£3.00 Per Day.

- Fuel?
- Cars
are supplied with a full tank which is charged at the start of the
rental period. Bring the car back empty as no refund will be paid.

- Child
Seats?
- These
are available at a nominal charge of IR£25.00 regardless of
the length of the rental. These must be requested in advance.

- Security
Committment?
- The
renter is required to leave a security commitment to cover against
parking tickets & other problems. This security committment
takes the form of a signed credit card imprint taken at the start
of the rental period. The credit card coupon is held by the car
rental firm & destroyed after rental if there are no problems
or parking tickets.
Theft Protection?
- This
is an insurance option which covers the vehicle for theft provided
that the vehicle is left in a secured place & locked. This option
is available at a price of IR£3.00 per day and we recommend
that it is taken.
