Clarence Hotel, Dublin

This is in reality one of Dublin's most exclusive hotels and is comparable to a 5 star hotel in terms of luxury and quality of service. Originally built in 1852, it was transformed into a contemporary boutique, design hotel in June 1996 by it's new owners, Bono and The Edge from U2.

The Clarence Hotel has 49 bedrooms: 44 king-size double rooms, 4 suites and 1 penthouse. All guestrooms have been uniquely designed to provide accommodation that is simple and elegant. The majority of rooms have super king-size double beds. Each of the hotel's rooms and suites are decorated in one of five signature colours: crimson, royal blue, amethyst, gold and chocolate. Specially crafted beds with Egyptian linens create bedrooms that are calm and comfortable. Spacious bathrooms with fluffy white towels and robes add to the comfort of your stay. Each room is equipped with satellite TV, VCR, modem connection, 2 telephone lines, voice mail facility, mini-bar and safe.

Concierge, 24-hour room service & laundry/dry cleaning, valet parking, business services, foreign exchange, babysitting service on request, complimentary daily newspaper, private dining facilities, fitness room, beauty treatment room, secretarial facilities and disabled access.
The Tea Room restaurant with its south-facing double-height windows, provides a direct link between the calm of the restaurant and the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar outside. The Octagon Bar has remained a favourite Dublin watering hole throughout the hotel's history. It is a popular meeting place for lunches, pre-dinner drinks, cocktail receptions and dining.
The Nue Blue Eriu Therapy @ The Clarence is the place to go to be pampered, indulged and to awaken your senses after a long day shopping, sight-seeing or doing business in Dublin City.
