Cork is hailed as the 'Real capital of Ireland' by locals and as the 2nd largest city in Ireland and European Capital of Culture 2005, we here at Hotel-Ireland decided to take a trip down to the Southwest of our fair isle to see for ourselves what all the fuss was about: to check out the hotels in Cork, tourist attractions in Cork and of course the renowned pubs and restaurants of Cork city. Everyone we encountered along the way was warm, friendly and helpful.
