Restaurants, Bars and Spa at the Castle
Relax and unwind, read a book or enjoy afternoon tea in the Drawing Room,
prepare for dinner with a leisurely swim in the swimming pool or treat yourself
to a massage in the Spa. There's so much to do in Dromoland, you might
never want to wander through the front gate. Dining at Dromoland is always
an occasion. There is something special for all tastes, a six course
dinner celebration, or a light snack in the Country Club. All can be
enjoyed in wonderfully grand but relaxed settings. The Fig Tree Restaurant
offers a wonderful variety of food for more informal dining in contrast to the
award winning more formal Thomond Restaurant.
As well as full health and leisure centre complete with swimming pool, there is a spa to indulge
in the tranquil surroundings and experience the best Swedish Massage,
Aromatherapy, Nail Therapy, Facials, Hair Clink etc. Out of doors, there's
a championship golf course, fishing, horse riding, clay shooting, and many more
active pursuits. Or you could use the castle as a base to explore the
surrounding area from Bunratty to the Burrren or Cliffs of Moher - all within an
easy drive.
