Slane
Co. Meath

Introduction
In the beautiful Boyne Valley, with a view overlooking the River Boyne, lies Slane Castle. The castle itself was reconstructed to its current form under the direction of William Conyngham in 1785. It was created by some of Ireland's most brilliant architects, leaving the interior and exterior something not easily forgotten. Having suffered extensive damage from fire, the castle recently completed a 10 year restoration, and with its doors once again open is one of Ireland's prime castle locations. It has been host also to the annual Slane outdoor concerts and festivals, which have given us the likes of U2 and many renowned international bands.

Accommodation
Slane Castle offers unique luxury accommodation for groups of 10 or more people. Every one of the 10 well-appointed en-suite bedrooms has its own individual character and beautiful views. All rooms have telephone, TV and 24 hour room service. The lack of any other guests in Slane Castle allows you to lose yourself in the experience, making it your home for the duration of your visit. The rooms are fabulously decorated and with service to match.

Slane Castle offers a variety of services for corporate events, as well as a comprehensive advisory service, so you need not stress when planning events. They can provide full catering and can organise themed events if necessary. There is a Neo-Gothic ballroom and conference rooms which are ideal for any event. Slane Castle has proved to be a very popular location for wedding receptions. Most people turn to it for the style, the cuisine and the sense of a bygone era that adds a flutter of romance to an already joyous occassion.
