The privately owned original Gregans Castle, a very interesting towerhouse of the 15/16th century, is across the road from the hotel. This tower house was the former residence of the chief of the Loghlens, Prince of Burren. Up to the end of the 16th century The Burren was known as the Barony of Gragans. Owney More O'Loughlen was proprietor of Gregans in 1641, but was dispossessed in the Cromwellian Settlement which followed 1654.
Each Bedroom and Suite is individually and exquisitely decorated in a relaxing country house style.
There are various categories of rooms to choose from, all with nice views of the surrounding area or with their own private gardens. We take great pleasure in making your stay at this serene haven, a memorable one.
From our extensive dinner menu, there is a good choice of fresh local foods, carefully prepared by Chef Regis Herviaux and his team with the tastes of our customers in mind. We carefully select all our ingredients and organic Burren lamb and beef are specialities, as is locally caught fish from the Atlantic Ocean.

Enjoy an apéritif before dinner in the relaxing Corkscrew Bar. Interesting food is also served here at lunchtime. Later in the afternoon, enjoy tea and homemade scones.
