It was once the home of the late film director, John Huston, who described it as "one of the most beautiful houses in Ireland." Twelve grand guest rooms are elegantly decorated, and provide guests with a calm and serene location for total relaxation. The splendid and stately entrance hall leads guests to the drawing room with a spectacular sunburst centerpiece on the ceiling.

Main floor -- Drawing room; dining room; sitting room; large fully equipped kitchen; two deluxe bedrooms (queen-size beds) each with private bathroom.
First floor -- Five grand bedrooms (3 king, 1 queen, 1 twin) each with fireplace and private bathroom.
Garden level -- Four superior bedrooms (2 king, 1 twin,double-double) each with private bath.
Angelica Suite -- A few steps from the main house lies a charming octagonal house with queen-size wall bed and full bathroom.
All guest rooms feature remote control colour television, VCR, CD/clock radios, telephone and in-room safes for valuables. private dining and meeting facilities available.
Facilities
Situated 20 miles east of Galway, the estate is an ideal base for hunting with the Galway Blazers and fishing on the lakes. One can perfect one's game of golf on the estate's par 3 course and at several championship courses in the vicinity.
Other sporting amenities in the area include horseback riding and horse racing in Galway; sea fishing in Galway Bay and hill-walking in Connemara. There are many fine restaurants and charming pubs nearby. When not rented the house is available for short overnight stays and dining.
