Resting within the shadow of the world famous Rock of Cashel, this building of late Queen Anne and early Georgian style was built in 1730 for Archbishop Bolton as his residential Palace. the Cashel Palace has been restored as a hotel, the hotel is complemented by walled gardens which include the private Bishops walk to the Rock of Cashel. Nesting within its garden are two ancient Mulberry trees, planted in 1702 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Anne. The hotels 23 rooms are all en suite with TV, phone, trouser press. The Bishop's Buttery Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, while the Guinness Bar is open for light snacks daily, both offering modern Irish cuisine at affordable prices. Sunday lunch served in The Three Sisters Restaurant.
