and the elegance of the original features has been preserved within the Castle. Beautiful antique furniture,
original oak panelling, ornate plaster ceilings and an Elizabethan Stone fireplace complement the Castle.

Restaurant, Bar and Hotel Facilities
Dining at Waterford Castle provides an opportunity to sample the best of tradition and contemporary cuisine. The Munster Dining Room with its original oak
panelled walls and ornate ceilings sets the tone for a wonderful evening. The restaurant's seasonal menus place emphasis on both Irish specialties as well as the finest international cuisine. The resident pianist who plays nightly (peak season) during dinner completes the ambiance. You also have the reassurance of the recently awarded 2 red Rosettes from the AA.
On the Island, activities include an 18 hole Championship Golf Course, all-weather tennis courts, croquet and sylvan walks. Off site horse trekking, fishing, hill walking, water sports and beauty treatments can be arranged for guests.
